Job summary

India Abroad is seeking an Excavator Operator in Nizwa, Oman to operate heavy machinery for excavation and material movement on construction sites. You will load and unload trucks, dig trenches, and level terrain under supervision.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience, a valid heavy machinery license, and the ability to read site plans. English communication is essential, with Arabic a plus, and the role includes visa sponsorship and provided accommodation.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience operating excavators on construction sites.
Valid operator license for heavy machinery.
Ability to read and interpret site plans and drawings.
Physically fit with strong hand-eye coordination.
Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
Experience working in the Middle East is preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate various types of excavators to perform designated tasks on construction sites
Safely and efficiently load and unload materials using the excavator's bucket
Dig trenches, level terrain, and clear debris as directed by the supervisor
Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any malfunctions or damage
Follow all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues
