Job summary

Work corp seeks a Junior Construction Manager in Nizwa, Oman to assist in planning, coordination and supervision of construction projects. You’ll work with senior managers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to required quality standards.

Your duties include preparing project plans, coordinating with contractors, site visits, budget management, safety compliance, and progress reporting to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience in a similar role or relevant internship.
• Familiarity with construction management software and tools (e.g. Procore).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of project plans and schedules.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise.
• Assist in managing project budgets and ensuring cost control measures are in place.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with design teams to review plans and make necessary adjustments.
• Prepare reports on project progress for senior management.
