Job summary

Want More is seeking an Electrician Technician to install, maintain and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings in Muscat, Oman. You will read blueprints, follow safety codes and collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper wiring and equipment installation.

The role requires proven field experience, ability to troubleshoot complex issues, and good communication skills. Accommodation is provided for contract work in Muscat.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an electrician or electrician technician.
• Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients.
• Physically fit to perform duties such as climbing ladders and lifting heavy equipment.
• Attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Install wiring, lighting and other electrical components in new buildings according to blueprints and building codes.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical systems to identify and repair malfunctions.
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure proper function.
• Collaborate with construction team to ensure proper installation of electrical equipment during building construction.
• Respond to emergency calls for repairs or maintenance of electrical systems.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed including materials used and time spent on each project.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards and safety procedures.

Job description

As an Electrician Technician you will be responsible for installing maintaining and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings. You will work closely with the construction team to ensure that new buildings are properly wired and equipped with the necessary electrical systems. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing any issues that may arise with existing electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install wiring lighting and other electrical components in new buildings according to blueprints and building codes
• Test and troubleshoot electrical systems to identify and repair any malfunctions
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure they are functioning properly
• Collaborate with construction team to ensure proper installation of electrical equipment during building construction

Requirements

Salary 1400$ per month negotiable depending on experience
