Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a driver.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of Omani traffic laws and regulations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong time-management skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the work of drivers, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods and passengers.
• Develop and implement schedules for drivers, taking into consideration traffic conditions and delivery deadlines.
• Train new drivers on company policies and procedures, as well as safe driving practices.
• Monitor driver performance, providing feedback and addressing any issues that may arise.
• Maintain accurate records of driver hours, routes taken, and vehicle maintenance.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Handle any customer complaints or concerns related to transportation services.
• Conduct regular safety meetings with drivers to promote safe driving practices.
