Job summary

QuantumIT Solutions in Muscat is seeking a professional driver to transport goods and passengers. You will operate company vehicles safely, plan efficient routes, and adhere to traffic laws while maintaining records and communicating with customers.

The role offers a contract position with potential extension or permanent employment. Basic English skills are preferred, with flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required; a valid Muscat license is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license issued by Muscat authority.
• At least 2 years of professional driving in Muscat or similar.
• Knowledge of Muscat traffic laws and routes.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends/evenings/holidays.
• Good English communication (basic preferred).
• Strong customer service skills.
• Physical ability to sit long and lift up to 50 pounds if needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and/or passengers.

• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations and company policies.
• Ensure the timely delivery of goods or arrival of passengers at their destinations.

• Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption and other transportation-related data.
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and superiors as needed.

• Strong customer service skills
• Physical ability to sit for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds if needed

Salary

We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this position

Location

This position is based in Muscat but may involve travel within Oman or other neighboring countries

Contract Type

This is a contract position with the possibility of extension or permanent employment based on performance

Experience Requirements

At least 2 years of experience as a professional driver in Muscat or similar locations preferred However freshers with relevant skills are also welcome to apply
