Job summary

The Global Search Company partners with a growing retail client to appoint a Digital Trading Executive based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on commercial performance, online merchandising and the digital customer journey across owned channels and third-party marketplaces.

Reporting to the Digital Trading Manager, you will manage day-to-day trading, campaign execution, product data, pricing and stock, and produce dashboards to support commercial decisions with Marketing, Buying and IT

Qualifications

• At least four years' experience within e-commerce, digital trading or retail merchandising.
• Experience supporting online trading across websites, apps or third-party marketplaces.
• Good understanding of e-commerce performance indicators including revenue, conversion, AOV, stock availability and product performance.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting capabilities.
• Excellent analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing product data, digital content, promotions or online merchandising.
• Strong planning and organisational skills with ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
• High attention to detail and a proactive, accountable approach.
• Professional fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of digital trading strategies, promotional campaigns and merchandising initiatives across owned e-commerce channels and relevant third-party marketplaces.
• Monitor daily and weekly trading performance, identifying opportunities to improve revenue, conversion and product performance.
• Ensure products are commercially ready with accurate pricing, availability, promotional information, imagery and content.
• Manage online merchandising across website and app platforms, including product categorisation, navigation and visual presentation.
• Coordinate homepage refreshes, product updates, copy reviews and content quality control across multiple platforms and regions.
• Help improve the customer journey through merchandising enhancements and testing.
• Coordinate digital campaigns across website, app, email, social media and other touchpoints.
• Prepare and analyse sales, trading, product and inventory reports for commercial decision-making.
• Maintain trading dashboards and performance trackers covering key e-commerce metrics.
• Support sales forecasting and demand planning through analysis of product performance and stock movement.
