Job summary

Tawteen invites applications for a faculty position in Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics. The role focuses on teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, supervising projects, and advancing research collaborations.

The successful candidate will contribute to curriculum development, engage with industry partners, and participate in service activities within the university and local communities while meeting Oman Accreditation Board standards.

Qualifications

• PhD in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems or closely related field from internationally recognized university.
• Professional certifications such as GIAC, CISSP, CEH or CISM are preferred and show commitment to ongoing development.
• Demonstrated teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics.
• Experience supervising student research projects and theses.
• Industry experience that complements academic qualifications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics; supervise theses.
• Oversee undergraduate/postgraduate projects and dissertations with guidance on research methodologies and outcomes.
• Engage in scholarly research leading to publications in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
• Develop and expand research collaborations and grant applications to enhance funding.
• Contribute to curriculum design, development of new programs, and community engagement.
