Job summary

NextPartners in Salalah, Oman is seeking an experienced Crane Operator to join our team. You will operate mobile, tower, and overhead cranes, reading load charts and rigging plans to set up and run lifts safely.

You must have 3+ years of crane experience, a valid certification, and knowledge of OSHA regulations. The role requires clear communication with the ground crew and strict adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating cranes in a construction or industrial setting.
• Valid crane operator certification or license.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations for crane operations.
• Ability to read load charts and rigging plans.
• Strong communication skills.
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects.
• Attention to detail and strong focus on safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of cranes including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes.
• Read and interpret load charts and rigging plans to determine proper crane set-up and operation.
• Inspect crane equipment before each use to ensure safe working condition.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures while operating cranes on job site.
• Communicate with ground crew using hand signals or radio communication.
• Perform routine maintenance on cranes to ensure proper functioning.
• Report any equipment defects or safety hazards immediately to supervisor.
