Job summary

ApexBuild Solutions is seeking a skilled Mason for a contract position in Khasab, Oman. The role involves laying bricks and stones, following construction plans, and ensuring quality workmanship. The contract is temporary, and accommodation will be provided for the duration of the assignment.

Ideal candidates will read blueprints, use hand and power tools, and work safely with attention to detail. Preference may be given to Canadian or Kenyan applicants. Women are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Mason or similar role.
• Knowledge of different masonry materials and techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans accurately.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lay bricks, stones, and other masonry materials according to construction plans.
• Cut and shape stones using hand or power tools.
• Mix mortar and spread it onto surfaces to prepare for construction.
• Use levels and plumb lines to ensure accurate placement of materials.
• Repair or replace damaged masonry units.
• Follow safety procedures at all times.
