Job summary

India Abroad in Muscat is seeking an Indian national to join as an Accountant on a contract basis. You will manage and maintain the company’s financial records, process invoices, and prepare reports for management.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, minimum 2 years’ experience, strong Excel and QuickBooks, and fluent English (Arabic a plus). The salary is 1800 USD per month with accommodation and visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Accountant, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.
• Must be an Indian national currently living in Muscat.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred).
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure timely payments and collections
• Process invoices, expenses, and other financial transactions accurately and efficiently
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and laws
