Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in medicine
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
  • 3 to 7 years of internship and clinical residency training, specializing in Urology
  • Fellowship in Urology or its equivalent such as Arab Board/Indian Board to practice as a Urologist

Experience:

  • 5 to 10 years

License:

  • Valid MoH License as a Consultant or Specialist in urology (for Candidates within Oman)
  • For candidates applying outside of Oman should be eligible to have a medical license as per the Oman MoH category.
  • Hold a valid medical license from your home country

Responsibilities

  • Examining, diagnosing, and treating patient conditions and disorders of the genitourinary organs and tracts.
  • Documenting and reviewing patients' histories.
  • Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
  • Using specialized equipment, such as X-rays, fluoroscopes, and catheters.
  • Treating lower urinary tract dysfunctions.
  • Prescribing and administering antibiotics, antiseptics, or compresses to treat infections or injuries.
  • Providing Urology consultations or referring patients to specialists.
  • Directing nurses, residents, or other staff.
