Job summary

SGS is seeking Civil Engineers to join its IDI team across Riyadh, Jazan and Khamis Mushait. The role conducts site visits, inspects buildings per Saudi building codes and international standards, and issues reports with findings.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, 2–3 years in construction/inspection, Saudi Code experience, fluent English, and willingness to travel across KSA. Saudi national only.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2–3 years of experience in construction, testing and inspection in civil engineering.
• Proven experience in Saudi Code.
• Strong knowledge of civil and structural works, including foundations, concrete, steel structures and finishing.
• Experience in IDI program
• Ability to prepare detailed technical reports and documentation.
• Fluent in English language.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and site safety practices.
• Ability to work in a team oriented environment.
• Willing to travel across KSA as per the business need
• This role is only open for Saudi nationals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visit and responsible for inspection of buildings according to Saudi building codes and international standards.
• Issue reports and documentation of findings and comments in accordance with Saudi building codes and international standards.
• Take over responsibilities from other Inspectors for non-assigned projects during emergency leaves.
• Describe and assess technical problems and develop proposed solutions
• Comply with client requirements by delivering the required report on predefined timings
• Handle any project professionally and effectively.
