Overview

This is a full-time, on-site role as a CertificationManager located in Muscat. The Certification Manager will lead all activities related to product and factory certification, ensuring compliance with international standards such as IEC 61400, ISO 9001, and relevant regional grid and safety regulations. This role involves close collaboration with global certification bodies (e.g., DNV, TÜV, UL), technical teams, and OEM licensors to manage type certification, component certification, and factory audits. The Certification Manager will also oversee documentation control, non-conformance closure, and ensure traceability of materials and processes in accordance with certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience (5+ years) in managing certification processes for wind turbines or similar industrial products
• In-depth knowledge of IEC 61400 series (including IEC 61400-1, 61400-22, and 61400-23) and certification body requirements
• Experience working with certification authorities such as DNV, TÜV SÜD, UL, or similar
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
• Understanding of wind turbine components, manufacturing tolerances, materials traceability, and testing protocols (static, fatigue, and dynamic)
• Strong project management skills and ability to lead audits and conformity assessment processes
• Experience in preparing and reviewing Technical Files, Design Evaluation Reports, and Manufacturing Evaluation Reports
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate across engineering, quality, and OEM teams
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering
• Fluency in English; Arabic or Chinese is a plus
• Experience with type certification transfers, technology licensing, or re-certification of locally manufactured components is an advantage
