Job summary

WealthGuard USA in Nizwa, Oman invites applications for a Cashier position. You will handle transactions, ensure cash accuracy, and maintain a clean cashier area. You will greet customers, process payments, and reconcile cash at shifts.

This contract role requires flexibility and readiness to relocate to Nizwa. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, prior cashier experience, strong math and communication skills, and basic computer knowledge to operate POS systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role preferred.
• Excellent math skills with the ability to handle cash accurately.
• Good communication skills to interact with customers effectively.
• Basic computer knowledge to process transactions using POS systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be an Indian national residing in Nizwa or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments
• Count and reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift
• Maintain accurate records of transactions
• Resolve customer complaints and escalation issues when necessary
• Keep the cashier area clean, organized, and well-stocked
• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service
