Job summary

ConFlip is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our Salalah, Oman construction team. You will read blueprints, measure and cut materials, and construct or install wooden structures, fixtures, and fittings. The role requires safe use of hand and power tools and adherence to project timelines.

Salary is 1200$ per month with accommodation provided, and we offer free visa sponsorship and airfare tickets for eligible candidates. Oman-based position with strong teamwork and accuracy expectations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
• Proficient in reading blueprints/drawings and taking measurements.
• Ability to use hand/power tools safely and effectively.
• Good understanding of math calculations (e.g. measuring/cutting angles).
• Physical stamina to handle heavy equipment/tools/materials for extended periods of time.
• Good communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings, or written instructions to determine project specifications
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, pencils, chalks or marking gauges
• Cut wood or other materials using hand or power tools such as saws, chisels or planes
• Assemble and fasten materials to make framework or props using hand tools and wood screws
• Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings or hardware using hand tools
• Inspect ceiling or floor tile installation to ensure that it is straight and properly aligned
• Follow safety rules and regulations at all times while on the job site
