Caregiver for Elderly in Nizwa, Oman

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide support and assistance to elderly individuals in Nizwa, Oman. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for providing daily care and assistance to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of our elderly clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Administer medication as prescribed by a doctor or nurse
• Prepare meals according to dietary restrictions or preferences
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients
• Accompany clients on errands or appointments as needed
• Monitor clients' health and report any changes to the supervising nurse or doctor
• Keep clients' living spaces clean and organized
• Provide emotional support and comfort to clients during difficult times
• Assist with physical therapy exercises as directed by a healthcare professional

Requirements

• Previous experience as a caregiver for elderly individuals preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Compassionate and patient nature
• Physical ability to assist with lifting, transferring, and other manual tasks
• Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR
• Valid visa sponsorship for working in Oman

Salary: 1400$ per month. This is a contract position without accommodation provided. However, visa sponsorship will be provided.
