Overview

SalamAir’s Cadet Pilot Program trains CPL holders with no prior flight experience to become qualified A320 First Officers. The program covers full training from type-rating till becoming a First Officer.

Requirements

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

• Age: Between 18 and 35 at the start of the course.
• Education: Secondary School Education Certificate with an average of 75% or higher (as per the Ministry of Education grading scale).
• Criminal Record Check: CRC Basic Disclosure Certificate.
• License Requirements:
  • Current EASA or ICAO CPL with IR and frozen ATPL acceptable to Oman CAA.
  • The Instrument Rating (IR).
• Flight Experience: Meets Oman CAA’s minimum flying experience requirements and qualifications (Single Engine, Multi-Engine, MCC, PBN and Advanced UPRT).
• Medical Certificate: Current and valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• English Language Proficiency (ELP):
  • Minimum ICAO Level 4 (fluent verbal and written).

All Documents must be valid for at least six months upon applying.
