Job summary

Al-Futtaim Automotive is seeking an experienced Automotive Painter for the Honda Service team in Oman. You will handle the full painting cycle from prep to finish, ensuring high-quality refinishing that meets manufacturer standards and insurer requirements.

You will work with a professional Aftersales team, using spray guns, color matching, and tinting to achieve precise finishes while maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast-paced bodyshop environment.

Qualifications

• ITI or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years as Automotive Painter in dealership or bodyshop.
• Experience in paint mixing, tinting and color matching.
• Able to perform complete painting cycle from prep to finish.
• Knowledge of spray guns and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete vehicle painting and refinishing per Honda standards.
• Prepare surfaces by sanding, dent rectification, priming, and paint prep.
• Mix and tint paint for color match.
• Apply primers, paints, and coatings per specs.
• Conduct polishing and finishing to restore appearance.
• Maintain spray guns and tools; monitor material usage.
• Aim to meet productivity targets with quality workmanship.
• Participate in Honda training and certifications.
• Follow health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Support continuous improvement in workshop operations.
