Job summary

Al-Futtaim Automotive seeks an experienced Automotive Painter for the Honda Service team in Oman. You will handle the full painting cycle from surface preparation to final finishing in adherence to Honda standards and insurer requirements.

The role requires five or more years of workshop painting experience, strong color matching and tinting skills, and proficiency with spray equipment. English communication is essential; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

ITI, Diploma or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience as an Automotive Painter in a dealership, bodyshop, or collision repair environment.
Experience in paint mixing, tinting, color matching, and polishing.
Ability to perform complete automotive painting cycle from preparation to final finish.
Good understanding of workshop safety standards and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform complete vehicle painting and refinishing in line with Honda standards and insurer repair requirements.
Prepare vehicle surfaces: sanding, dent rectification, stopper, priming, and paint prep.
Mix and tint paint to achieve accurate color match and finish.
Apply primers, paints, and coatings per manufacturer specifications.
Carry out polishing and finishing to restore vehicle appearance.
Maintain spray guns and painting tools; monitor material usage.
Support continuous improvement and maintain workshop cleanliness and safety.
