About The Job

An opportunity has arisen for an Associate Director - Sales to join our Team in Jumeirah Muscat Bay. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Execute the sales strategy as directed by the reporting manager, refining it continuously to identify new business opportunities and achieve annual sales objectives through defined KPIs.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and customer needs to ensure the sales team remains proactive, innovative, and aligned with business goals.
  • Monitor room and space occupancy, sales forecasts, and revenue performance, ensuring compliance with rate guidelines and timely response to client inquiries.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, strengthen existing accounts, and represent the hotel at industry events to drive revenue growth.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve productivity, incentive, and performance targets while ensuring professional development and succession planning.
  • Manage departmental budgets, forecasting, and reporting, maintaining alignment with organizational objectives and regional financial requirements.
About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • A High School Diploma or Certificate from an accredited institution is required; a bachelor’s or master’s Degree or MBA from a recognized university is desirable.
  • Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Office, and PowerPoint, with the ability to manage administrative and reporting tasks efficiently.
  • Fluency in English and Russian (read, write, and speak) is required; knowledge of additional languages will be an advantage.
  • Demonstrates strong commercial acumen, leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to meet targets and drive results.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational abilities; able to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and deliver within tight deadlines.
