Gender Oman invites skilled physicians to join as adjunct faculty in medicine. You will plan and deliver content, stimulate discussions, supervise clinical teaching, and contribute to student assessment and advising.
The role requires MD/MBBS with a medicine specialty, minimum 5 years of teaching and clinical experience, and active involvement in research. English proficiency is mandatory; age 35–50 is preferred.
Plans and delivers course content which fosters student learning, stimulate classroom discussions, and ensure student engagement. Maintains course files. Contributes in students assessment Pursues to get a license from MOH for practicing their discipline as an adjunct member of the hospital health care team. Contributes in the clinical training of students Provides academic advising/counseling to students. Collaborates with peers to conduct research and publishes in reputed journals. Assists the department in day-to-day administrative tasks/functions as assigned (e.g. time tabling/scheduling). Participates in relevant community outreach projects. Guides students in research projects Serves on college committees Contributes in faculty development activities to update him/her self with recent advances in knowledge and skills to ensure high quality teaching, research and patient care aligned with NU strategic goals and National priorities. Participates and provides guidance to students led co-curricular activities. Any other work assigned by HoD/ Assistant Dean/ Dean.
MD/MBBS + Medicine specialty certification (e.g., MD (India)/Board Certification in Medicine).
Minimum 5 years post-qualification teaching and clinical experience.
Proficiency in English is a must.
