We have an urgent hiring requirement for Nursing Assistants for our Rehabilitation Centre under the Ministry of Social Development, Sultanate of Oman. The selected candidates will be responsible for providing care and support to physically and mentally challenged patients.

Gender & Qualification Requirements
Male Candidates
- Qualification: ANM / GNM / B.Sc. Nursing
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Age: 40 Years
Female Candidates
- Qualification: 2-Year Diploma in Assistant Nursing and Midwifery (ANM) only
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Age: 35 years
Mandatory Requirements
- Dataflow verification for Qualification, License, and Experience must be completed.
- No Prometric examination is required.
- Candidates must attend and pass the MOH Viva examination.
- Immediate joiners will be given preference.
Salary
- Male Candidates with GNM or BSc qualification: OMR 300 per month
- Female/Male Candidates with ANM qualification: OMR 250 per month
- Female/Male Candidates with Diploma in Nursing Assistant qualification: OMR 230 per month
Job Purpose
To provide safe, basic nursing care and assistance to residents with physical, cognitive, and functional disabilities under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and feeding.
- Assist nurses in providing care to residents with physical and cognitive disabilities.
- Measure and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure, as trained and authorized.
- Assist with positioning, turning, mobilization and transfer of residents.
- Assist with bed making and maintaining a hygienic patient environment.
- Provide support for residents requiring wheelchair, walker or other mobility assistance.
- Assist with meals, hydration and feeding as directed.
- Assist in the care of residents with urinary catheters, tracheostomy, PEG tubes and other medical devices under nursing supervision, within approved scope of practice.
- Observe residents for changes in physical or mental condition and promptly report abnormalities to the Staff Nurse.
- Assist with pressure injury prevention, including regular repositioning and skin observation.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided.
- Assist nurses during emergency situations and follow emergency protocols.
- Maintain infection prevention and control practices, including hand hygiene and appropriate PPE.
- Ensure residents' comfort, dignity, privacy and safety at all times.
- Support rehabilitation activities as instructed by nurses and therapists.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and clean patient-care environment.
- Follow institutional policies, procedures and resident safeguarding requirements.
