Junior Accountant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team in Nizwa. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Record financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare and submit financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Reconcile bank statements and other accounts on a regular basis
• Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings
• Communicate with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders regarding financial matters
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, concepts, and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)

Compensation and Working Hours
