Job summary

Youth Pathways is seeking an experienced and motivated Youth Worker to support rangatahi aged 10-21 and their families across Canterbury. The role focuses on intensive wrap-around support, with plans tailored to each young person’s needs and goals.

You will work mainly 8:30am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday, in an inter-agency setting, occasionally in school environments, and you must have a current full driver’s licence and eligibility to work in New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth.
• Ability to work in an inter-agency collaborative setting.
• To hold a current full driver’s licence.
• Eligible to work in New Zealand.
• Flexible with work hours (8:30am–5:00pm, Mon–Fri).

Responsibilities

• Provide wrap-around support to rangatahi and their families.
• Collaborate across agencies to coordinate services.
• Participate in planning, reporting, and case management as required.
• Support rangatahi in school environments when needed.
• Complete background checks as per Vulnerable Children's Act 2014.
