Job summary

Motion is seeking a hands-on labour and logistics role for curious, mechanically minded people. You will gain practical workshop experience while contributing to a busy warehouse operation.

The role involves delivering customer-focused service, ensuring orders are correct and dispatched on time, and maintaining a safe, compliant workplace per OSH requirements. You will also support the Motion Fluid Solutions workshop and help with stock handling and shipping.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to lift 20 kg or more.
• Hold a valid NZ driver’s license.
• Mechanical aptitude desirable.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements in an industrial environment.
• Able to work independently, use initiative and develop smart ways of handling product.
• Team player attitude.
• New Zealand citizenship or valid work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a customer-focused service for all activities to each business unit.
• Ensure orders are correct and dispatched on time.
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment in line with OSH requirements and company policy.
• Support / cover the Motion Fluid Solutions workshop as needed.
• Keep the warehouse tidy and clean.
