Are you passionate about the wool industry and eager to make a difference to growers? With our sights clearly set on reinvigorating the wool supply chain, PGW Wool is looking for an energetic and motivated individual to join our procurement team as a Wool Representative.

As a Wool Representative, you will:
  • Provide expert wool knowledge and support industry standard wool preparation.
  • Maximise wool procurement opportunities.
  • Procure bales of wool, offering a variety of channels to market.
  • Manage and maintain grower relationships.
  • Develop strong relationships with other team members and learn off some of the best in the wool industry.
  • Help your growers understand the multiple benefits that come with partnering with a full rural supplies' organisation like PGG Wrightson.
What You Need:
  • Understanding of wool characteristics and handling and/or a deep passion for sheep farming and the fibre.
  • Experience in wool procurement and/or the wool supply chain would be ideal but is not essential (training would be available for the right person).
  • A focus on service and solutions to drive results.
  • Exceptional time management skills and ability to work unassisted.
  • Team player attitude.
  • Energy to go the extra mile.
