Job summary

Talk Education is seeking qualified or unqualified teachers to fill flexible childcare shifts across Wellington ECE centres. You tell us your available days and times, and we’ll match shifts that fit.

Great communication, professionalism, and NZ work rights are essential. We welcome both qualified/registered teachers and experienced non-qualified helpers; travel within NZ is possible.

Qualifications

• Qualified and/or Registered ECE teacher with current right to work in New Zealand.
• Or unqualified with hands-on childcare experience (babysitting, nanny, after-school care).
• Available to relieve 2–5 days per week.
• Strong communication and professional demeanour.

Responsibilities

• Provide flexible, shift-based support across ECE centres in Wellington region.
• Travel within NZ for shifts when required.
• Maintain high standards of care and professionalism.

We have childcare shifts available in ECE centres throughout the Wellington region. You tell us the days/times you’re available to work, and we’ll find shifts that match.

About you:

• You are either a Qualified and/or Registered ECE teacher
• Or, Unqualified and have some experience working with children. For example, babysitter/nanny, swim instructor, after-school childcare assistant, etc.
• Available to relieve 2-5 days each week.
• Great communication skills and professional
• Willing to travel (within reason)
• You are currently living in New Zealand with the right to work.
