CustomLinc, based in Christchurch, is seeking a Web Developer to help evolve our tourism tech platform for the next generation of customers. You will work across modern web experiences and the underlying systems powering them.
You will build responsive booking widgets, portals, and web apps using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, while integrating APIs and troubleshooting production journeys. A collaborative, agile team culture supports growth and innovation.
At CustomLinc, we’re powering online bookings, ticketing, payments, and customer experiences for tourism and travel operators across New Zealand, Australia, and the Pacific.
From wildlife parks and heritage railways to iconic visitor attractions and cruise operators, our software helps businesses deliver unforgettable customer experiences while running more efficiently behind the scenes.
We’re growing and looking for a talented Web Developer to join our Christchurch‑based team and help us evolve our platform for the next generation of customers.
This isn’t another role where you’ll spend months working on a tiny piece of a product – you’ll see your work go live quickly, solve real customer problems, and have a direct impact on the success of our clients.
You’ll also play an important role in one of our biggest initiatives: transforming our legacy desktop application into a modern web‑based platform. Rather than building on top of a standard frontend framework like React or Angular, we’ve built our own approach to serving and rendering pages.
As a Web Developer, you’ll work across both modern web experiences and the underlying systems that power them.

Someone who embraces innovation, you will be confident using AI tools to enhance productivity, improve development practices, and deliver better software solutions.
We’re more interested in strong development fundamentals and learning agility than experience with a specific technology stack.
You’ll ideally have:
