Are you an experienced Water Serviceperson-Leading Hand looking for an opportunity that contributes to community?

Te Kōwhiringa | The Opportunity

We are seeking a Water Leading Hand to join our team based in Dargaville. As an experienced Serviceperson, your primary role will be planning and managing water projects to ensure the work carried out meets the contract specifications and clients' expectations. Your duties could include:

  • Routine and planned preventive maintenance, installation, and repairs on water assets such as water pipes & mains
  • Organising, directing and controlling activities and operations, ensuring all targets are safely met
  • A hands‑on role in completing work safely and meeting our client and the needs of contract
Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in either civil construction, drainage, labouring, plumbing, agriculture work, preferably involved in water, wastewater and stormwater, but not necessary.
  • National Certificate in Water Level 4
  • Proven experience or an interest in Water Reticulation
  • Current confined space entry training would be an advantage
  • A full class one Driver's license and the ability to drive a manual vehicle.
