Job summary

Pattle Delamore Partners is seeking an infrastructure advisory consultant to shape New Zealand’s water projects. You will contribute to strategic planning, investment, asset management, and regulatory tasks while supporting senior advisors and guiding project direction.

You’ll translate technical and regulatory data into clear advice, balance detailed analysis with system-wide perspectives, and help win new business through quality service and bids.

Qualifications

• 2–10 years' experience in consulting or infrastructure roles.
• Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, Policy, Science, Asset Management, or related fields.
• Consulting or advisory experience is preferred; water sector knowledge is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Advise stakeholders in local and central government and utilities on infrastructure planning, investment, and strategy.
• Translate complex technical, financial, and regulatory information into clear advice.
• Move between detailed analysis and broader system perspectives to deliver actionable recommendations.
• Support business growth through quality service and strategic bids.
• Collaborate across PDP disciplines to leverage expertise.
• Prepare polished written and visual materials.
