Job summary

Tiaki Wai Limited – Wellington, North Island, is offering a fixed-term Legal and fixed-term Resource Management internship as part of the 2026/2027 Summer Intern Programme. The internship runs from 23 November 2026 to 12 February 2027 and is paid in line with the New Zealand Living Wage, with opportunities across treatment plant, network, investigation and engineering solutions.

Applicants must be a current NZ student in 3rd or 4th year pursuing a relevant engineering degree and have NZ

Qualifications

• Currently studying in NZ and pursuing a relevant engineering degree at 3rd or 4th year or higher.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with broadly defined engineering tasks.
• Attend incidents related to the water system and contribute to solutions.
• Ingest, improve and interact with data and types.
• Support process-improvement initiatives within the team.
• Participate in field investigations and project work.

Education

Pursuing 3rd or 4th year in Civil/Environmental or Chemical/Process/Natural Resource Engineering (NZ)
