GHD New Zealand is seeking a Water Infrastructure Engineer to join our national water team based in Christchurch or Wellington. • A Civil engineering degree is required.
• 4+ years’ experience in water infrastructure design or delivery in a consulting or infrastructure setting.
• Knowledge of water, wastewater and/or stormwater systems and design standards.
• Ability to perform engineering analysis and deliver practical, buildable solutions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive approach to learning and professional development.
• Organised multitasking and ability to meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated and energetic, with flexible problem-solving.

Responsabilidades

• Support planning, design and delivery of water infrastructure projects including water supply, wastewater and stormwater systems.
• Contribute to the design of pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs and related infrastructure.
• Perform engineering calculations and document project outcomes.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings and specifications per project requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality work safely and efficiently.
• Support project delivery with adherence to quality, safety and risk frameworks.
• Engage with stakeholders and support client interactions during delivery.
• Develop strong client relationships to secure required project outcomes.
• Perform office and site-based work, collaborating with virtual teams nationally and internationally.
• Provide guidance to graduates and mentor junior design engineers.
