Stantec is seeking a Group Leader for the Central North Island to inspire and guide our water team across Palmerston North and Hastings regions. The role focuses on delivering water infrastructure projects, driving business development, and building strong client relationships with regional leadership support.

You will bring a professional engineering qualification and 15+ years in the three waters sector, with local knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience leading diverse teams of professionals.
• Proven ability in business development and client management.
• Excellent written and verbal communications.

Responsabilités

• Lead and drive regional Water clients’ business development.
• Provide operational leadership for Palmerston North and Hawke’s Bay Water teams.
• Directly manage Palmerston North and Hawke’s Bay Water Team Leads.
• Deliver water infrastructure projects within your technical scope.
• Foster long-term client relationships and cross-team collaboration.
• Support workload forecasting and resource planning with the Business Leader.
