Job summary

Compass Group New Zealand is looking for a reliable Storeperson to join the team at Waiouru Military Camp. This permanent, full-time role offers 40 guaranteed hours per week and a chance to contribute to warehousing and logistics operations.

You will receive, unload, process, pick, pack and dispatch stock, maintain records, and ensure FIFO and safety procedures are followed. Training and career progression opportunities are available within Compass Group.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in storeperson, warehouse, inventory, or similar role.
• Strong administrative, organisational, and communication skills.
• Computer literacy and the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling duties.
• Reliable team player who can also work independently.
• Willing to complete pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, process, pick, package, and dispatch stock
• Maintain accurate warehouse, inventory, freight, and storeroom records
• Ensure stock is stored correctly and FIFO procedures followed
• Assist with monthly stocktakes, order sheets, and inventory management
• Maintain safe, clean, organised, and secure storage areas and equipment
• Follow all food safety, manual handling, health, safety, and security procedures
