Job summary

New Zealand Post is seeking a Delivery Agent on Waiheke Island to deliver mail and parcels by motorcycle. You will work with a small team, then operate independently on route, ensuring accuracy and timely deliveries.

The role runs Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 1:30 pm, with permanent employment and benefits. A valid motorcycle licence is desirable, and applicants must be able to work in a physical role with strong numeracy and literacy.

Qualifications

• Must have numeracy and literacy to sort and address information.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday 7am–1:30pm.
• Physically demanding role, able to lift and carry items.
• Motorcycle licence is desirable for the role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mail and parcels on Waiheke Island using a motorcycle.
• Process and sort mail from Waiheke Island Retail Branch before delivery.
• Operate in all weather to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.
