Summerset in Hobsonville is looking for a dedicated casual Chef to join our village kitchen team. You will be responsible for resident production meals as well as delivering the café menu and cabinet items, catering to a range of diets.

This role involves preparing set meals for residents, café orders, and ensuring compliance with Food Safety Plans, with opportunities to showcase creative culinary flair at village events.

Qualifications

• You will be an experienced and passionate Chef with fast-paced kitchen experience, delivering set meals and café orders.
• Solid understanding of Food Safety Plans and HACCP-like controls.
• Able to mentor colleagues and share culinary knowledge with the team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook set meals delivered to residents.
• Cook short orders for café customers.
• Comply with the approved Food Control Plan.
• Provide support and guidance to the kitchen team on preparation techniques.
