Job summary

Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) seeks a Veterinarian to join the Live Animals team in Auckland. This permanent, full-time role focuses on ensuring safe international movement of animals, protecting New Zealand's biosecurity, and supporting animal welfare with regulatory decision-making and certified export processes.

You’ll inspect imported animals, audit quarantine facilities, verify export and welfare requirements, and issue export certifications.
