Job summary

Macmahon Underground is returning to New Zealand and seeks experienced Service Crew to join the Snowy River Gold Mine Project near Reefton. You will be part of underground development, production and backfill services, focusing on installation, maintenance and repair of essential underground systems.

We are seeking safety-focused individuals who will uphold high operational standards, support production activities, and contribute to a strong team culture on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months’ underground mining experience in a Service Crew role.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Valid Working at Heights Licence (essential).
• Valid NZ Class 1 driver’s licence with DG endorsement (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot underground infrastructure, including ventilation, water and air services.
• Complete pre-start inspections, report hazards or defects, and follow site plans, instructions and traffic management procedures.

• Help teammates, share knowledge and support a strong crew culture.
