Job summary

OceanaGold is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner for Otago, NZ. You will coordinate planning and scheduling across maintenance, engineering and execution teams to ensure work is scoped, resourced and delivered on time.

The role requires tertiary engineering qualification or relevant industry experience, 3+ years in mining, NZ work rights and a Class 1 licence. Enjoy a 9-day fortnight roster and a competitive package including bonuses.

Qualifications

• Tertiary level Engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in mining or related heavy industry.
• Current NZ work rights / unrestricted NZ Visa.
• Full Class 1 Driver Licence.

Responsibilities

• Create short, medium and long term maintenance plans as directed by the Maintenance Superintendent and budget.
• Plan and schedule maintenance and resources to minimize downtime and meet standards.
• Maintain planning and reporting systems to acceptable standards.
• Utilise available resources effectively and produce maintenance plans.
• Ensure timely, accurate reports and documentation for maintenance activities.
• Comply with project management and risk assessment documentation and procedures.
