No surprise if you have - Big Chill Distribution is a leader in the storage and express delivery of chilled and frozen products nationwide, with eleven depots strategically positioned throughout New Zealand. We pride ourselves on delivering excellence in transportation services from collection to delivery.

About the Role

We are looking for anexperienced Class 5 Driver to join our team. Ideally you will have at least 6 months' experience driving Class 5 as well as experience in temperature-controlled transport, as you will be working with chilled and frozen goods.

Being the face of Big Chill out on the roads, you will also bring to our team excellent communication and customer service skills.

This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays, starting at 4:00am based in our Blenheim Branch.

Key responsibilities include

• Delivery and pick up of chilled and frozen products
• Providing assistance to the Stores team to present product for loading/unloading
• Collaborating with dispatchers to ensure timely deliveries
• Compliance in delivery times and temperature control of customer goods

About You

Qualified Class 5 driver with at least 6 months' experience

• OSH Forklift Operator certified with experience operating a forklift

Experience working in frozen/temperature-controlled environments

Demonstrable organisational and time management abilities

Committed to delivering exceptional customer service at all times

Strong understanding of Health, Safety and Compliance.
