Job summary
BuildRight Construction AU is seeking dependable Class 2 and Class 5 truck drivers to support movement of goods across Auckland and key locations in New Zealand.
This role offers local delivery or line-haul opportunities. You will join a team responsible for keeping transport operations running smoothly, including vehicle preparation, loading, unloading, and timely deliveries.
Qualifications
- NZ Class2 or Class5 licence required, depending on position.
- Ability to safely operate the relevant heavy vehicle.
- Forklift licence desirable but not essential.
- Strong focus on safety and responsible driving.
- Willingness to work varied shifts, including night work.
- Pre-employment drug screen required.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy vehicles safely and responsibly.
- Complete local deliveries throughout the Auckland region.
- Operate heavy combination vehicles for line-haul transport where required.
- Transport goods between company sites, customers and distribution centres.
- Complete scheduled deliveries and collections within required timeframes.
- Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Carry out vehicle safety checks and report issues.
- Maintain accurate delivery and transport records.
- Follow WHS procedures at all times.
- Maintain professional communication with customers and colleagues.
