Job summary

MBIE is seeking a Senior Advisor to work with the Programme Director, Programme Board and leadership team to provide governance, assurance and advisory support on a major transformation programme. You will coordinate governance activities, support assurance reviews, and deliver reporting and decision-ready documentation for senior leaders.

Qualifications

Exceptional written governance documents and minutes.
Strong critical thinking and analytical capabilities.
Excellent organisational and coordination skills with deadlines.
Experience supporting governance boards or steering groups.
Ability to advise on governance processes and assurance.
Effective stakeholder management with senior leaders.
Experience in complex programmes, portfolios, or projects.
Proactive, solutions-focused with attention to detail.
