Veolia Australia and New Zealand is seeking a Traffic Management Operator (TMO) to join our Queenstown team in Otago, NZ. You will coordinate and deliver traffic management programmes across local roads and state highways, supporting CCTV and jetting operations while prioritising safety and client requirements.

The ideal candidate holds a recognised TMO qualification, has 1–2 years’ experience in traffic management, and understands NZ rules for local councils and state highways.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised Traffic Management Operator (TMO) qualification.
• 1–2 years’ experience in traffic management operations.
• Understanding NZ traffic management requirements for local councils and state highways.
• Experience in client-facing service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver traffic management programmes for CCTV, jetting and other works.
• Coordinate schedules to maximise equipment and resources.
• Allocate assets with the Team Leader to meet deadlines.
• Ensure safety, health, environment and quality requirements on all works.
• Provide professional, customer-focused service to clients.
