Job summary

Deep Creek Fruits in Cromwell, Otago, seeks Experienced Tractor Drivers/Spray Operators to join our seasonal orchard team. You will operate a range of orchard tractors and spray equipment, supporting mowing, spraying, and harvest preparation with safety and efficiency at the forefront.

We value hands-on workers who can start immediately, possess a Full NZ driver's licence, and demonstrate reliability and attention to detail. Growsafe certification is preferred or willingness to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating tractors or similar agricultural machinery.
• A current NZ full driver's licence is preferred.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and reliability with immediate start.

About the Role:

You'll be operating a range of orchard tractors and machinery, supporting key orchard operations including mowing, spraying, and harvest preparation. This is a hands-on role where safety, care, and efficiency are essential.

You'll need to have:

• Proven experience operating tractors or similar agricultural machinery
• A current driver's licence (Full NZ licence preferred)
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A positive attitude and reliability - ready to start immediately

Preferred:

• Growsafe certification or willingness to achieve one
