Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Taranaki is seeking a Clinical Coordinator for Theatre at New Plymouth Hospital. This permanent fulltime role leads day-to-day theatre operations and rostering to ensure safe, timely patient care.

Collaborating with the Clinical Nurse Manager and senior staff, you will apply strong communication and problem-solving skills to maintain throughput across six operating theatres.

Formación

• Experienced RN, Anaesthetic Technician/Nurse or Perioperative Practitioner with theatre knowledge.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
• Current Annual Practising Certificate (APC) required.
• Postgraduate study (PG certificate) desirable; PDRP proficiency encouraged.

Responsabilidades

• Support Clinical Nurse Manager, Associate Clinical Nurse Managers and the Charge Anaesthetic Technician in daily operations and quality activities.
• Oversee rostering and the communications centre; be a chief problem solver.
• Implement solutions to meet throughput requirements across six theatres.
