Qualifications

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Field Sales Team as a Territory Manager with a preference of being based in either Taupo or Rotorua.

In this role you will drive sales category growth and profitability by executing banner promotional plans and shopper activations focusing on growing PepsiCo brands. You will have the ability to use scan data to identify in-store execution opportunities such as distribution, shelf space and display execution. Building and maintaining a great relationship with the customers is key to success in ensuring compliance as well as driving extra discretionary opportunities. Whilst always promoting, developing and improving the Health and Safety culture.

Responsibilities
  • Key Account Management for New World, Pak N Save, Four Square & Trent’s
  • Planning and executing the promotional program
  • Forecasting and TPM management
  • Management of Key Account Executive / Vendor Managed Inventory
  • Build strong relationships at multi levels within the FSSI business
  • Negotiating deals to deliver the annual sales budget
  • Develop NPD and Big-Bet activation plans, and execute with FSSI Field Team
  • Monthly analysis of IRi and Dunnhumby data, to analyse performance and trends in the grocery channel and identify opportunities for growth in FSSI.
  • Contribute to National Sales Team by attending all National Sales Planning Meetings and Team Building/Training events and assist in the development and presentation of category Reviews.
  • Controls – ownership on pricing alignment, credits and promotional communication to retailer and field
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 Years’ experience in FMCG industry preferably with experience in Field Sales, Category Management or Key Accounts.
  • Centralised buying & FS commercial negotiation experience highly advantageous
  • A commercially astute, analytical individual with experience in promotional modelling to drive sustainable growth
  • Field Experience is highly advantageous
  • Tertiary Qualification or Bachelor’s Degree in Business or similar
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Power Point, Power BI, IRI (Unify) & Dunnhumby
  • Excellent Communication Skills – Oral and Written
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with demonstrated strengths in presentation, negotiation and influencing.
  • Proven strength in prioritization and time management skills
