WOSL in Auckland's Wiri Terminal is hiring a Terminal Operator. This hands-on role covers receipt, storage and distribution of fuel products, with a rotating shift roster including nights and weekends.

You will work closely with a small team to maintain safety, reliability and operational excellence. The role emphasizes procedures, safety mindset, and teamwork, with responsibilities to support maintenance, emergency response and continuous improvement of critical fuel infrastructure.

Formación

• Experience in an operational role, preferably in a terminal or large plant environment, or dealing with hazardous/dangerous goods.
• Ability to work a rotating shift roster, including nights and weekends.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to procedural compliance.
• Mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills.
• Good computer skills, including data entry and record keeping.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude.
• A full New Zealand driver's licence.
• A high level of physical fitness, including working at heights and in confined spaces.

About the Role

A Terminal Operator is a varied, hands-on operational role where no two days are the same. Working as part of a close-knit team, you’ll work a rotating shift roster, including nights and weekends. You'll help ensure the safe and efficient receipt, storage and distribution of fuel products at our Wiri Terminal in Auckland.

This is a role that combines practical operational work with a strong focus on safety, teamwork and continuous improvement. You'll also support maintenance activities, emergency response requirements and the ongoing reliability of a critical piece of New Zealand's fuel infrastructure.
