Job summary

Scania Hastings is seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Technician to diagnose, repair, and service Scania vehicles and equipment. You will perform mechanical diagnostics, engine rebuilds, and routine maintenance while upholding Scania’s high quality standards in our NZ workshops.

You will need a relevant Level 4 qualification or 3+ years’ proven experience, a current NZ Driver’s Licence and a forklift licence is desirable.

• Pride in quality workmanship and alignment with Scania values.

What You Will Do

• Repair & maintenance, mechanical diagnostics &service of vehicles & equipment
• Work on all aspects of repairs & maintenance, including engine re-builds & servicing
• Committed to health & safety promoting and fostering a safe work environment

Our workshops are all Scania owned branches

• As an OEM, you have the opportunity to progress to different roles in other areas of the business

About You

• You will have a relevant Level 4 qualification or have at least 3 years proven exp working as a Heavy Vehicle Technician
• You take pride in quality workmanship and doing things right. Our quality standards & Scania values mean everything to us, they will mean everything to you too
• You will thrive on ensuring customer satisfaction through your work and how you support your team – happy customers means happy you
• You will have a current NZ Driver’s License
• A forklift licence would be highly desirable
