Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking a Team Leader for Patient Services, Nutrition & Food Service at Waikato Hospital. This permanent full-time role involves leading day-to-day operations, coordinating Patient Services and Nutrition & Food Service teams, and ensuring high-quality, safe meal delivery across inpatient wards.

The successful candidate will lead frontline staff, work with clinical teams and dietitians, and drive service improvements while fostering a positive, inclusive team

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and coordination to Patient Services and Nutrition & Food Service teams across Waikato Hospital.
• Oversee lunch and dinner tray line services and ensure safe, high-quality meal delivery.
• Support staff development and wellbeing; coordinate workforce requirements.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to improve service delivery and patient experience.
