Job summary

St Cuthbert's College (Epsom) in Auckland seeks a certificated secondary teacher to teach Visual Arts across Years 7–13. You will inspire students to develop skills in painting and design, with a passion for creative inquiry and high standards of achievement.

About the role

The successful candidate will be expected to teach Visual Arts across Years 7–13 and will be passionate about inspiring students to engage with and develop their skills in the Visual Arts. Familiarity with the IB programme, and the ability to teach Design and/or Painting at NCEA Level 2 and 3, would be an advantage, but is not essential.

To be successful in this role, you need to:

• Epitomise St Cuthbert's "By Love Serve" in all you do;
• Be passionate about teaching Visual Arts across Years 7–13, with the ability to challenge and inspire students at all levels;
• Have a sound knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum and NCEA requirements;
• Have New Zealand working rights;
• Hold a current New Zealand Teaching Registration and Practising Certificate.
